Twilight: New Moon star Robert Pattinson has bravely opened up to reveal his experience of being assaulted in a series of unprovoked attacks when he was younger.
The 23-year-old has decided to talk about how he suffered at the hands of others during his teenage years – for no good reason that he can remember.
Rob said: “I’ve been beaten up a few times, by a lot of people when I was younger.
“I was a bit of an idiot when I was younger. But it was always unprovoked, in my eyes, anyway.”
He added: “I never got beat up by school bullies. It was after school.
“It was generally after I started acting. And I liked to…behave like an actor! Or what I thought was an actor. Which generally provoked a lot of people into hitting me!”
Rob recently admitted that his shy streak – perhaps caused by the attacks – means his he finds the attention he receives from followers of the vampire movies difficult to deal with.
He said: “You kind of, you are trying to limit the amount of time you have to deal with it. I do a bit of hiding.”

EMILIE De Ravin admits she quite liked filming sex scenes with Robert Pattinson for their new movie Remember Me.
“He’s a lovely guy,” De Ravin told E! News. “Nothing felt unnatural or weird. Sometimes those things are awkward, but we get along really well and we’re friends. So everything in that respect then was much easier. It became just a part of the day.”
De Ravin admits she’s surprised by the press attentions Pattinson garners.
“Crazy is the word,” she declared. “It’s a little challenging sometimes. We were very accessible to people in Manhattan. I didn’t know there were so many women here.
“You’re trying to work out your rehearsal and all those eyes just watching everything you’re doing, it’s like, ‘Okay, I’ve just got to focus’.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart did nothing to dispel rumors their relationship is a PR stunt at the New York premiere of Rob’s new movie Remember Me Monday night — after the pair showed up to the red carpet event in separate cars.
Real couples usually travel together!
Rob, 23, was busy working the crowds with his costar Emilie de Ravin when Kristen, 19, arrived and posed for pictures.
Stewart also signed autographs before entering the Paris Theater.
“She looked really happy,” a source said. “But she and Rob hardly spent any time together.”
The actor will be busy filming new movie Bel Ami in Europe when the show takes place this Sunday.
Previously it had been claimed that organisers were snubbing the actor.
But now Oscar co-producer producer Adam Shankman has said they wanted him but were told he’s busy.
“I think the Pattinson community (fans) is going insane. All I want to say is, ‘He’s not available!’ It’s not like we snubbed him. It’s not like we said no to him. We asked him to be in the show. We tried really really hard to get him there. We were working on getting (film studio) Summit to fly him in for the day, but eventually it became too much,” the Daily Express quoted Shankman as telling E! Online.
The actor — who’s widely rumored to be dating his Twilight costar Kristen Stewart – has told Details magazine that he’s allergic to vaginas!
“I really hate vaginas,” Pattinson said. “I’m allergic to vagina. But I can’t say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours. But I wasn’t exactly prepared. I had no idea what to say to these girls. Thank God I was hungover.”
Pattinson also spoke about the relationship he has with his dog. “The only emotional connection of relevance is with my dog,” he said.
“My relationship with my dog, it’s ridiculous.”
R-Patz then revealed details about his close encounter with an elephant.
“Did you know elephants purr? It’s completely scary if you don’t know what it is,” he said. “They purr like cats, but their heads are so deep they sound like velociraptors. You feel it in the ground under your feet.
“So this big female started sniffing my foot—big female elephant, that is. She sniffed it so hard it came up off the pavement like her trunk was a vacuum cleaner. Then she took my entire body in her mouth. I was holding on to her head, and as I slowly let go she tightened her grip really carefully until I’m just upside down in her mouth and she’s going through my pockets with her trunk, looking for peppermints. It was the best day of my life.
“Yeah. So beautiful you can’t imagine. And the baby elephant was so excited that it sprinted out and did its routine in five seconds and then curtsied to everybody. It was actually laughing. Brilliant. Did you know they can also do imitations of other animals? A horse, a chicken, a monkey—these elephants could, anyway. They were movie elephants. One had written a screenplay, and one really wants to direct.”

Message boards and Twitter have been all atwitter about Robert Pattinson’s cover shoot for the March issue of Details magazine.
People are claiming the issue features a partially clothed Pattinson photographed getting “a lap dance,” being “straddled” by a woman,” and even standing while a woman on her knees simulates oral sex on him.
Gossip Cop has the REAL details about what’s really in Details.
First off, Pattinson is FULLY clothed in all of the dozen or so photographs. He’s not even shirtless in any of the pictures.
And there are no straddling shots. No lap dance shots. No simulated oral sex shots. None of it.
While it’s true the models are nude in some pictures, remember it’s Details magazine, so readers won’t be exposed to their details either.
Insiders tell Gossip Cop the photos are “super sexy,” yet “tasteful.” We also hear the pictures have “an Old Hollywood” feel to them. One source described the photos as embodying “1920s, 1930s Hollywood glamor.”
The Pattinson cover technically hits newsstands on February 23, but Gossip Cop is told some magazines will be available a few days earlier.
Gossip Cop would like to know in the comments section whether you’ll be picking up a copy of the Details cover featuring Pattinson.

Zac Efron has been busy punking the paparazzi!
While out jogging around Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles, the High School Musical star found himself surrounded by a group of snap happy celebrity photographers.
So he stopped dead in his tracks, waved at another runner just disappearing over the hilltop and yelled, “Hey, Robert… ROBERT!”
Laughing as the puzzled paparazzi looked at the disappearing figure, he said: “You guys are taking pictures of me? You just missed ROBERT PATTINSON.”
The photogs then bolted in search of “Pattinson”.
“When they caught up to the the runner and saw they’d been duped, the photographers ran back for Zac — but he’d hopped in his car and split,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.
An interview with Nicola Peltz on People.com generated a lot of interest today when it was revealed the actress, who stars in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, not only worked with Twilight-er Jackson Rathbone on the film, but will also be co-starring with Robert Pattinson in the near future.
A quick look at IMDB left fans guessing, since it doesn’t list any of Pattinson’s known upcoming projects among the 15-year-old actress’ plans.
Well, Gossip Cop solved the mystery.
A source close to Peltz tells Gossip Cop she’s been cast in Unbound Captives.
We hear great things about the young actress, which should only make anticipation even higher for the Pattinson flick.

Jude Law is happy to surrender his status as a Hollywood heartthrob to Robert Pattinson – insisting the young “Twilight” actor has already taken his place. Law, 37, is convinced he is now too old to be considered a pin-up, especially as so many young stars are breaking into the movie business and securing legions of loyal followers.
And the Brit is relieved he can finally shed his image as a Hollywood hunk – because he has always been uncomfortable with the title. He tells Germany’s Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, “If I have a look around at the moment I feel great relief because finally others are entering the limelight. Men like Robert Pattinson must now play the Adonis. For me it was always a restraint, a restriction.”
“My goal was always to be recognized as a good actor but no one was interested in that, simply because society just wants to warm towards your appearance. This is the great blemish of society,” the “Sherlock Holmes actor reveals. “When you suddenly appear on the scene and you are the new face, everything centers on you. I experienced this in my mid-20s and I found it rather hard.”
